Cross Country Run 2008

BNPS had the cross country run today.

The event was held at the nearby park and Reii came in 29th in her 1000m run.

It was sunny and the kids enjoyed themselves on this beautiful day.

Last year, I flew back to Sg to give Reii a surprise as she turned 7.

This year, the family's all together in Mel to be with her as she turns 8.

Time really flies, it's been so fast? So what was the day like?

Specially cooked brekkie of beans, scrambled eggs and mashed potatoes, packed ham sandwiches for lunch, time of discovery and learning at the Mel Museum and finally settling the tummy with delicious sphagetti, prawns, ribs, chicken strips, fries, ice cream and brownies from TGIF.

"Mummy I am very happy because it is my birthday & Daddy & you are here with me. Also, I can choose to do and eat anything I want."

Windy Day in Melbourne

The effects of the cyclone in Adelaide was felt in all of Victoria with wind speed lashing at a high of 137km/h. We had a power interruption for 2hrs - good work for the fast restoration! The winds were howling, windows shaking, Reii was sorta shaking too in the house. She decided to do a project recording the events of the day.
