Reii Turns 10!!!
Thank you Aunty Pauline for opening up her house for a informal party for Nicole on Saturday. This is also a great opportunity for friends to meet up before School Term starts again.
We had a great feast of Sushi and Sashimi (thank you Uncle Johnny!), fabulous healthy Wonton Chicken soup with Vege (it was really almost one ton of it! and we get to take home too!). We also had beautifully wrapped sausage rolls...yummy to all (thanks to Aunty Manna who taught us kids to roll them up for the oven).
Mum bought the Ricotta Fruit Cake...argh, it was not very well received...was it cos it tasted like fruit cake? or was it cos everyone was already so stuffed with wonton and sushi (by the way, there were also leftovers for sushi)? or was it cos it was a filling cheese cake? Anyway, we still have abit of it in the fridge and it is already past 4 days since that Sat!hahahah!
On the actual day of my birthday, I was treated to meeswa for brekkie, then Dad fetched me to school. My class sang me "Happy Birthday" & I gave out Freddo chocs. I had 4 myself! Even break was special as mum prepared fish fingers for me :) Meanwhile, Mum and Dad went shopping for movie tickets and presents (Guiness Book of Records 2010 and Ripley's Believe it or not) for me. We arrived at the beautiful Balwyn Cinema, it is so art deco, reminiscent of Capitol theatre, according to my parents. Total of only 6 in the entire cinema and it was so cool and fun wearing the 3d glasses as we enjoyed "Clash of the Titans". Dinner was at Colombo's - I had portion of Kids' Cheeseburger(huge), Colombo's special of Rivoli and Pizza, Tiramisu and more ice cream. It was a fabulous day!
