House Drama 2011

For the past 3 days, the whole Middle and Senior School prepared for the annual House Drama day. Each house had 3 days to rehearse a play that the Year 11s had written and a dance that the Year 11s also choreographed. There were guidelines that each house had to follow.

Ower did a murder mystery for the play and creation and destruction for dance. I was in dialogue and I played one of the forensics and was also a stage ninja that help change the sets. The play had a twist: the policeman investigating the murder was actually the murderer!

We could wear casual clothes for the days and for the 3 whole school days, we just practised the performances to be ready for 6 November: the adjudicated performance and the night performance that invited family and friends to watch.

We came equal 2nd and Hughston won the House Drama cup. Although we weren't the champions, I still enjoyed House Drama alot.
