Reii picked inline skates during her last trip here in June 2007. She was thrilled! Bryan & Reii had so much fun going round and round the open area at SSTM in Pudong. The rental was pretty cheap for endless hours of fun. The package came with all the necessary gear to ensure that your skin does not get "left" on the hard ground - should you fall.....No bloody scraps, no pain of such. By the way, I landed once flat on my bump when I went to play with her in June....ouch!

Reii had collected some brochures then and her ever indulgent Daddy even searched on the internet before she decided that Jette Hearts will be the one. She just decided on the Red / Yellow model this Monday.

Yesterday evening - we were on instant messaging again.
This was different as Reii had just received her report card - the blue RGPS booklet.
She proclaimed...Mummy, it says I am severely overweight..but I am already 137cm now you know...ha, but she is really rather big for her age....

Mine is 1,1,1..... Now, what in the world is that???
So easy, Band 1 for English, Band 1 for Mandarin and Band 1 for Mathematics lah...

Q: So do you know who is the best student in the class? (asked the kiasu mum..aiyoh!)
A: No idea...we do not know, also, there is no class position stated in the report.

This marks the end of Primary One for my darling Reii.
It has been a tough year for you darling...One year without your mummy and daddy by your side. Good that Mama, Ah Ku and Ah Kim are so concerned for you. They love you so much and so sayang you.....wah.....

Tell you a secret......Mummy had tears coming down the face after you X me last night. So sorry because I could not hold you to tell you how proud I am of you. So sorry that I cannot see the results written on the card but had to hear of your results by listening to you reading aloud. Sorry that I am not at your side. And that's why I cried. I was sad not to be with you.
